I have to confess that i cheated yesterday and i feel very, very guilty. I had two handfuls of dried fruit and nuts. When I read the calories in it I got even sicker. I am thinking about taking some exlax to get it all out.

nonono don't do exlax- that will screw up your detox. According to her book, ALG says that if you screw up, you're human & just go back to plan next meal. I fell off on day 3 & ate bubble gum= pure white sugar (many pieces & many calories also)- it didn't ruin the diet so I decided I could cheat more. Then I stopped losing- so the lesson is don't cheat regularly, but if you have a little "accident", it's not fatal. Just go back to the plan next meal.

While dried fruit and nuts might not be the best thing to snack on it is far better than cookies, cakes, or ice cream. Heck it's even better than pasta, white bread, and white potatoes. There is some real nutritional value in what you ate so I wouldn't beat yourself up over it. As mentioned above, regroup at the next meal and keep on going. You can do it!

I just remembered that I accidentally ate nuts through the first 4 days because I didn't realize they were off plan until phase 3. It didn't have a big negative impact that I can see as I still lost and felt energized. So don't even worry about this. and most fruits are alowed anyway- so they were a little dried- no big deal!)

BUT, I have really big hands. lol. Thank you both for getting me across that hurdle. When i tell you how bad and disappointed I was with myself, you guys really helped thank you very much. I love this site, I don't know what i would have done with out you.
