Day 2 of Low-Carb diet, kinda following Atkins guidelines.

I am also on day 2 of Low Carb. I'm following http://www.dietdoctor.com/. I'm feeling really good about it!

Hey Dewey, yep day 3 here and i am feeling pretty good about it. One thing i have noticed is that by eating all this protein, i am less hungry. My favorite thing is to make 3 tuna salad lettuce wraps for lunch. What is your diet consist of?

I think I've got my food journal open, you can look if you want. Eggs for breakfast. I made some egg "muffins" on Sunday and they are excellent to re-heat during the week (let me know if you want the recipe)(eggs, sausage, cheese). Lunch has been a salad with prev. dinner protein in it. I got Newmans Own Oil&Vinegar dressing, and I'm loving it. Salad also has cheese in it. Dinner is some kind of protein (and veggies). I've been using the smaller salad plate and half the plate is protein and the other half is veggie of some kind. Monday was Sirloin Steak, yesterday was Chicken, and tonight is pork loin. I'm never hungry, but I still have cravings. Oh and LOTS of water. I've been drinking about 80-90oz each day. The trips to the potty are good for my step counter. :)

Oh.. and snacks. I got deli meat, and I bring 4 rolls of meat to work with me. Also eggs, and cheese sticks.

It took 3 weeks for the bread/pasta craving to go away for me. Wheat is my Kryptonite! LOL! It helps that you're never hungry, but for the wet dreams about a plate of pasta were hard to deal with. Then, one day, they magically disappeared! Hang in there, and tell the cravings to take a hike. They will. I promise you, they will.

You will feel great and not have cravings. I'm not a meat fan so my breakfast is unsweetened almond milk w/Garden of Life Vanilla Greens mix. Easy Peasy. Also, pickles are my great go to food...2 fill me up : ) Either way...you got this!
