I started walking a crazy amount of steps. last week I averaged 13k a day. Most days my caloric burn closely equaled my intake for the day so I thought I was going to drop like a rock. First day I was right and my weight dropped by a good amount. The heat in AZ is a tricky mistress. I was easily hitting my water goal for the day but not for the added heat of the day. I started retaining water because my body craved salt and I obliged lol. Weight loss seeming like a game of Jenga, every move hinges upon another three moves. It is interesting for me to say the least. I have quieted down the steps (my shins were killing!) and back into a hydrated state and back on my routine. This heat though!! it certainly is a game changer!
