Guys I need help.. anyone has problem sticking up with your routine? for me it's mostly about my mental health and when I start to feel overwhelmed or that things are not going the way they should I struggle a lot, I like working out, but some days are just bad.. what do you do in those situations? do you have some tip how to stay focused and don't give up?

I have several workouts that I can switch between. such as lifting, bike, karate. if all else fails I try to just go for a 10 min walk, if you feel like you can do more after the 10 min it's very easy to add onto.

The important thing is just finding something you love. There are lots of idea to get moving. Drumfit, swimming, rollar durby. . . Personally I like karate because the community drives me and encourages me to show up. Check out what's going on in your area, most groups will let you come try a few classes for free.

Have you considered the fact that exercise is so good for mental health? Maybe some daily affirmations would help with motivation?

Sounds cliche, but for me I keep reminding myself to "keep showing up". Sometimes your mental best is below the expectations you have for your physical or dietary goals. Sometimes your physical best is short of your mental goals. But keep showing up. I tailored this stoic like expression for my personal situation, and hopefully you'll find some value in it too: Do the best you can, With what you have, At this moment in time. One's circumstances and mental health and physical health is fluid and dynamic. One's best effort is a relative term to this point in time to one's current circumstances. Keep showing up, and be self-forgiving and self-compassionate. Good luck!

This is all Cliché as well and probably something that you already know: Remember just how good you felt after your last workout...we forget easily. Also, if working out is very important to you, my entire mood changes after my workout, then do not talk yourself out of a workout. It is much easier to stick to a program if other people are involved...you do not want to let anyone down. Good Luck!

I try to focus my energy on what someone I look up to would do. for me it's Kobe Bryant and the way he thought and trained, always makes me think I got to keep trying, moving, get better, no let downs. it keeps me focused on my goals no matter what or how I feel

I go for my daily walk like it’s a job. I don’t always feel like going and I force myself some days; however, I always feel better for it. There for you, my friend🤗🇨🇦

I feel less claustrophobic about dieting when I do the 5 day 2 day plan...5 days restrictive 1200 to 1400 calories...or what your range should be for moderate to fast losing...followed by 1 to 2 days of 1800 to 2300 calories....that way I always have a food day to look forward to...And I also find....doing mental trade offs work too: I will get something else to ear if I drink one glass of water, wait 10 min and am still hungry....or I will eat that after I go for a 30 min walk...sometimes I no.lo get want the item...

I go to the gym and just walk on the treadmill when I’m depressed and I tell myself it’s better than doing nothing and then I have a long hot shower and chug a Coke Zero it helps me a lot
