I lost half a pound for this morning's weigh-in. I don't feel that bad, but I really want to pull some big numbers next time -- just because I hope to be in the 170's by next month. Is that ambitious?

My body, however, has other plans. For example, I went to Angel's studio tonight and was ready to run. Then... that TWINGE. How do I explain? It's like someone stuck a mini-screwdriver in my kneecap and left it there, and the pain comes and goes. I didn't complain when she kept increasing the speed on the treadmill, but I think at some point I started to limp.

But Angel says I'm hard-headed because I really, really am. It didn't matter that I was limping. I was going to jog/run, even when she was telling me to bring it down to a jog. She gave up after a while and just let me do my short sprints. I WAS SO FRUSTRATED.
