Weight loss (not just mine, all weight loss in general for anybody)is not linear at all; most of the time I feel like I take a backseat to the metabolic processes underway.
Okay, body: I've given you the right octane fuel now GO.
Additionally, the scale is a liar most of the time; one can lose inches without having lost any weight. There are more ways than one to measure success, and the scale isn't the be-all-end-all of it all.
Speaking of inches, my clothing is starting to get pretty baggy on me, though it's hardly a complaint. :-D

Loved your post! I agree "I've given you the right octane fuel now GO.".. Totally. I wish losing weight was linear, but its all over the place. One thing I lack in life but am forced to confront every day is patience. It need so much patience on this journey of weight loss. I want it now, and I want it all. But its not like that. Its more step forward, half step back. Keep going, you're doing it!

I find that taking things one day at a time and looking back at the progress I've made over the year so far is a much more positive experience rather than waiting for that ultimate end result. It's possible to enjoy the journey as much as the destination provided that we give ourselves the right frame of reference. Thank you for the positive encouragement; we can both do this!
