I posted a foot pic today. It's not pretty, but the swelling has gone way down. It's also getting itchy, which I hope is good. Aside from that, I think the inability to carry anything anywhere has been a huge boon to my usual evening snack impulses. I was downright starving the first three days, right? My 17yo supplied me with hospital-quality white bread and peanut butter sandwiches twice. They did NOT hit any spot I've ever had in my life, and magically my evening craving seems to be a thing if the past.

That’s a fantastic change! Not having to fight your body at the end of the day when you are already tired should make your progress much easier!
