Short version: I love food, and am learning to love food while also making healthy choices about food.
Long version: I've always been chubby, and it was a source of shame in my life for a long time. At this point in my life, I don't care so much about the body-shaming, but I do want to feel good. My max non-pregnant weight before having kids was 204lbs, and after having kids was 212lbs. I threw my back out horribly while pregnant with my second child, and thanks to that injury and 3 abdominal surgeries, have an abysmal core and a bad back. I've done WW several times successfully using a Palm Pilot program (ww_calc), most recently in 2012. I started using Noom in February 2020, and have lost 18lbs on it. I'm trying to branch out a little, so that I can sustain the changes I've been making, and continue on the correct path.
