I used the Wearable Neurotech HPT socks when I tore the ligaments in my ankle, have you heard of them, they really helped with the swelling, the pain and the recovery.

I broke my tibia n fibula in Aug and the swelling would get pretty bad. Sleep n rest with ur feet up ANY chance u get. If it's hard in bed to keep them up, sleep on the couch and have ur feet dangling over one side of it. It helped me.
