Plan ahead.... it's the only way to get through the tough days. If you know that you'll be going out, then eat small sensible meals, loaded with veggies and especially before you leave. Carry small baggies of raw almonds or carrot sticks/celery with you in a small soft sided cooler... try a V8 on the run, (watch out for the sodium, it's killer). Plan your meals and snacks a day or two in advance and write it or print it out so you can see what your options are. Start with a glass of water before the food touches your lips.
