DAY 2
Yesterday I did well until dinner time. I knew I would be going out to eat and had told myself that I would cut my portion size in half of whatever I ate, but by the time we were able to eat I was so hungry that I ate the whole thing! :(
Today I have been doing great. Tried not to let myself get too hungry. Had some healthy snacks between meals. Left myself enough calories in case I want an evening snack.
Started to play mind games on myself when I got home from work. There is a bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough on the counter and some cookies that my son is making. My impulse is to eat now and start over tomorrow...but I reminded myself that I've used the excuse of "I can always start over tomorrow" so many times that years and years of "tomorrow's" have passed me by. I just need to be mindful because I'm my own worst enemy!
