I have to figure out a way to quit eating at night. Yesterday, I did well with my eating until late night, and it didn't help that Pat wanted to go to Taco Bell for some tacos. I talked her out of it, but we ended up eating some beef sausage hot dogs at midnight. No bueno.
This is not usually a problem during the school year, when I'm doing bootcamp four times a week including Saturdays. I come home at 6:30 and shower, eat something, then go to bed early. That's not the case this summer, and I would be glad when I get back to my normal schedule.
The only good thing yesterday was that I did not eat meat until last night. I don't want to be a vegetarian. There's no way I'm going to pull that off. However, if I can eat more fruits and vegetables compared to red meat, then I will be better off.
I am completely in love with the Morningstar Farms spicy black bean burger patties, though. I eat it with my sandwich thins, cheese, shredded lettuce, fresh tomatoes, and yesterday I added avocados and swore up and down it was the best thing I ever ate. I can't say much for the other burger veggie patties, but everytime I go to Wal-Mart, I make sure to buy at least one package of the spicy black bean burgers. Yum.
