Day 2 on the Dukan diet. Wow, feeling rough!
I ate far too much chocolate over the holidays, I am slightly ashamed to reveal that on one particular day over the Christmas holidays where my little pup was rushed to the vet hospital I did the whole "why do we even diet, for what?! To be thin? To be healthy? what if something was to happen to me tomorrow and the last thing I thought about was how many calories I had for the day, I'm done" routine and ended up eating, get ready for this, 8 chocolate bars before dinner time. That's 8 full sized chocolate bars compromising of 1 double decker, 2 kinder buenos and 5 kinder bars. I then topped the day off with a lovely chicken balti from my local indian takeaway and finished my night off by eating 8 mini pizzas. EIGHT. And just for the record, I ate the gigantic naan bread from the Idian the next morning for breakfast.
I am now really suffering :( This sugar/carb cold turkey is more difficult than it would have been if I hadn't eatend 1000000 chocolates over the holiday but that's done now, I must stay strong!
Luckily, by some miracle it would seem, I only gained 0.8lbs over the Christmas period. I was shocked, but happy at the same time so hopefully once I'm over this first week of the Dukan I will be back to my normal self. Good luck to me!
