Yeah that is a problem with me as well. I do the keto diet because of that. You have to try to find a balance where you eating enough to not have an issue but still lose.

Some days you have to look at the hunger as paying your dues. I am currently working on low fat, high volume as my plan.

For me, I eat, I get hungry. It is 'uncontrollable'. My solution was to wake up, and not eat. I found out I would not die and that I would not get hungry until I consumed carbs. I cannot just 'eat a little'. Can't do it. Good luck!

Don't eliminate keto yet. High protein is filling. Promise.

I agree with rosio and adef. I too will wake up and not eat. I don’t eat all day anymore. It’s made me feel good to allow myself a “window” then stop. Now if I’m hungry I’ll ask myself like rosio...am I bored or truly hungry? I use to eat and eat but not with Keto. Keto has helped me stay full and not feeling like I’m starving.

I too sometimes aet and it makes me hungry. I was surprised to see if I waited 15-20 minutes my hunger subsided. And yes, it's awful waiting 10 -15 minutes and feel like starving. I'm not always successful and everyone is diff but give it a try.

One thing that many of us have started doing is to have a protein shake at night. It's very filling. I do a protein shake almost every morning. Not lately because I've had a stomach bug of sorts and doing toast and tea. But when I have a shake in the A.M. It gets me through until lunch which might be around 2.

I have a coffee with heavy cream in the morning and then usually bacon and eggs for lunch. It’s simple and easy and keeps me nicely satisfied unitil dinner. Everyone rocks a different way, you will find your way, just persevere!

I think most of us have the same problem. for me it help if you go to the gym, burn lost of calories, so you would be thirsty, and drink a glass of water before any meal

I also have a protein shake in the morning. It keeps me satisfied til lunch. Also I try to stay very busy so that I don't have time to think of food. If I am not as busy, I tend to get bored and then snack.

Firstly, drink a lot of water. Secondly, being hungry for a couple of hours never killed anyone. I'm the kind of person that prefers to have 3 proper meals, which means that between lunch and dinner I go without eating. Sometimes I'm hungry, but in the end I always survive until the next meal :) Hang in there!

might want to try low carb...meat, veggies, oil and cheese only. Completely eliminates those hungers!

Hang in there. You can do this. Upping protein and fat and lowering carbs has helped me not feel hungry. Sometimes hunger is just thirst so be sure to hydrate. Keep coming here for encouragement. We're all in this together.

oh yeah Fulla's comment reminded me! I figured out drinking something hot makes me feel like I have something in my tummy or if I feel like snacking...I have hot decaf tea with Splenda or I mix 2tbsp of pure unsweetened cocoa with hot water and Splenda and have my own version of cocoa! (great for when I want chocolate or something sweet)
