I think I've lost a pound or two. I can't be too sure, and I don't want to keep stepping onto the weight scale. I feel smaller, though. I can tell when I look in the mirror that a lot of my back fat has gone away. I can tell when I touch my face that my cheeks aren't so fat. Look at my profile photo -- my cheeks are huge.

I went to the gym today and worked out about an hour. It's still not the same as Bootcamp -- why do I keep comparing? It'll never be the same because Bootcamp is IT. Who cares if you're on the elliptical for 20 minutes? You burn that amount of calories just doing 100 jumping jacks holding those awful 8-pound weights up and down above your head. But going to the gym is better than staying home and doing absolutely nothing.

I'm happy today.
