Got home yesterday from a month on South Padre Island Texas. Oh how I love it down there. I could walk the beach and watch the surf roll in for endless hours. The seafood and Mexican food is so good down there. I did partake in higher carb items, but tried to maintain portion control on those days. Ate lots of avocados and jicama, stayed away from the fresh oranges and grapefruit that south Texas is famous for. But those flour tortillas that you can watch them make are just so stinkin' good! I did manage to lose a pound and a half while I was there, all that walking helped me. I've been off here for so long, does anyone remember me???
