Yesterday my mother came out to the lake for a visit. We had a great time and went for a very long walk up and down the valley hills. Although she can't eat carbs at the moment, being on P3, she still baked oatmeal peanut butter raisin cookies and brought them out to lessen the temptation for her! Oh darn for me but they were good! LOL I had a few yesterday but impossible to count them in my journal. We also went out for ice cream cones to the local snack shack. Although on P3 my mom did have a very small cone. She has not cheated at all so I think she should be okay. Its very hard with the summer months to avoid all things good to eat! This entire last week I have been eating a higher percentage of carbs than I would like to be doing. The ice cream and snacking isn't helping me much. I have not had a drastic increase of weight which is good, however I am still not losing any on my own! I am going to make a better point to go back to eating way less carbs and eating more protein and veggies!
