Still no weight loss, but I am really enjoying this beginners running challenge- although I must admit I am modifying it to keep myself pushing. Yesterday I walked/ran 6 miles in one hour- 10 minutes 18 seconds on average per mile! It felt AMAZING!
Even better, I was only a tad sore this morning and 99% of that went away after I stretched for a few minutes so I am comfortable thinking that while I am pushing myself to go further, the day of rest between runs is enough to allow my body to repair itself.
