I have been thinking about a prolonged water fast. Very effective. Years ago I completed a 30day fast on grape juice, and warm tomato soup at night, with amazing results. At the moment I intermittent fast. So I only eat between 4pm and 8pm each day. Between 8pm till 4pm the next day, only water, or plane teas. Your stomach shrinks, you can't eat as much, and only have 4rs to eat. It's called 4/20. 4hrs eating, 20hrs fasting. So I eat what I want, while still doing my best to eat good whole foods. I am counting calories, and come in under, or on 2000cal, each day. Usually around 1650cal. By then I am truly full. Good trick to control calorie intake. During the day if I feel hungry. I use a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in 2cups of water, or black sugarless coffee. Both suppress appetite without spiking insulin.
