Ouch! If you want to dance, you have to pay the piper. Gained a few lbs this weekend. Did I expect it? Yes. Did I think it would be this much, No. 244.6 takes me back a few weeks in progress.
I did have a good time with Barry though, and my family, so that is what matters I suppose. Oh, who am I kidding, I am pretty bummed out now. Oh well. Yesterday I was on the diet plan again, so I am sure it will begin to shed rather quickly.
Because of all this see sawing of my weight lately, I have set a goal of 230 lbs by March 31st. I have also joined the "Slow and Healthy" Challenge. So a few things to kickstart my progress again. I also have to regretfully decline a party invite for next weekend, but oh well. After Christmas and all, I am about partied out.
In better news my foot/achilles is coming along really nicely. Almost too nicely in fact, reading about others who cannot walk for 8-12 weeks, and I am walking around minimally at 5 weeks makes me suprised, but maybe it shouldnt. I was walking 1-3 miles a day several times a week prior to my incident, and you have to figure even if people were younger (and lighter), they may have been much more sedentary than I was. I always felt I had big huge calfs, so maybe I am stronger than "your average bear". hehe
So today I will make my vegetable medley stir fry, and have my cereal for breakfast, and otherwise do all the right things.
I have to also study Biology today for a quiz tomorrow evening. Last week we were all shocked at the difficulty of this weekly quiz, and it was our 1st one. I also have to begin thinking about my 3 page paper due in a few weeks. Each week I end up hating my classes, until I go to them and then I enjoy it.
Anyway, I can go on and on, and i have a lot to do today.
Today I am grateful for my wife and kids. I am also grateful for fatsecret and my foundation here. I am grateful for my kitty, who wants to be fed now even though I bet there is food in her bowl.
