Up 2.6 lbs since yesterday. :-) Damn colleagues and their lunches!
I am not too down on myself about it, it was delicious. I just could not resist, appetizers, I had mushroom ravioli and only ate 3/4 of a 900 calorie plate, but I guess a few appetizers here and there and the bread got me! It was very salty so its probably just water weight. I had a few bites of calamari, and a few bites of fried cheese, and more than a few bites of Italian bread.
I have a real hard time ordering sensible food out, and double that when I am with my co-workers who have no regard for nutrition or weight loss at all! I don't know how these guys are not huge themselves, perhaps its age. I am at least 10 years older than most of them. Anyway, I FEEL depressed WHEN i am eating a salad and they sit around me eating fried bacon on a buttered bun (W/ Mayo)! And they are very insistent that we eat out at least once a week. There are few healthy/safe places for me to go with them. One is a chicken joint, that grills chicken, but, it has effects on the tummy not good for a gimpy person like me, lol. Anyway, moving on. Next time I will do a Nancy Reagan and "Just say no!" In all honesty, I wanted to go from being cooped up so long.
Speaking of fried bacon, our favorite American style restaurant here (Ric's) has a flyer on the tables "Special, Fried Bacon". I was so tempted to get some.
Wife and kids put together a big dinner too, baked chicken in a sauce, rice, and veggies. It was not bad calorie wise. I had a bit of a hissy fit or anger problem because I AM SICK OF CHICKEN! But, that is on me. Its about all we eat anyway, I am having a revolt of sorts. Slow and steady wins the race, and I need to embrace my routine again.
