After several days of fluctuating back and forth 2 pounds, I finally hit a new low today - just a half pound, but I'll take it! It has been a somewhat difficult week for me. I was in an emotional funk for most of it, and I felt my motivation waning. It seems the small amount of sugar I allowed myself on Christmas day triggered cravings that persisted all week. In addition, I injured my knee somehow. I hated having to cut my exercise back. I want to move forwards, not backwards! At any rate, I think that's all finally starting to turn around, thankfully! I do have one more family gathering on New Year's Day, at which I will be surrounded by all kinds of unhealthy foods. I plan to stick with my normal clean eating because I don't want a repeat of the post-Christmas hungry horrors!
