Well, has been a nice weekend so far! Gained a couple of pounds back, but I didn't really overeat much so I'm pretty sure it is more due to the ham that I ate over the last two days. I'm not worried, back to the gym today and after my guests leave back on my stricter regimen on Monday.
I am learning ways to get through the holidays without 'falling off the wagon', and this one was pretty good. I made a s/f pumpkin custard that was very rich and tasty; made some butternut squash with pecans that rivaled the sweet potatoes (or I was told), so I certainly had plenty of good things to eat. The pumpkin cookies that my sister brought, however, caught my eye so I had one!
Two more days of guests and eating and sitting too much! I'll get through.....it is the holidays after all!
