I ran two miles. Killer. My knee swelled up like a balloon. I may need more surgery. oh well. work through the damn pain. I feel like an old man. I need more stretching techniques throughout the day. Learn the lesson of waking up cat. that must be their tai chi.

I went somewhat paleo in my diet now. Fruit and meat only with lots of water.

Yesterday, a guy told me he had sleep apnea and then the doctor told him he could stand to lose a couple of pounds. He did lose the weight...65 Lbs. I asked how.

The doctor said calorie intake is the culprit. The man described his daily diet. He said for lunch I go to mcdonalds and order a big mac fries and a coke. Then it went to two big mac and no fries and a coke.

The doctors quarter pounder no cheese, side salad and diet pop. This will cut your calories in half. It worked he said. He's done many things other than that though now. However, it's a start. It's motivation for me. My skin is clearing up with all the water I am drinking.

My lunch is three oranges, three bananas, 8 oz of meat. Water.

I cut out bread mostly. I still want candy though. Sing it with me, y'all.

It's tough to break old eating habits but can be done for sure. I like candy too, mainly chocolate. A little bit every now and then is ok....but hard to eat just that little bit. Best advice for both of us on that.....stay away from it! Nice job with the loss.

weight loss is 80% diet, the other 20% is a combination of consistency, dedication, and lastly, activity. If running causes swelling in your knees, it would be a good idea to walk instead of run. A brisk walk will burn plenty of calories. Focus on Diet.

My new candy is sprinkle cinnamon on slices of apples or pears. Cinnamon is also great for stimulating weight loss and you know what they say about keeping the doctor away.

My doctor also said calories in/calories out. B/c I am an old woman, I said it can't be done. He said, "TRY". So here I am. I want candy. Me too, me too. BTW, I gave up whining for Lent.
