well done, nursing shifts can be stupid, and makes life harder to adjust to sensible eating, plus during night shifts you have a tendency to eat to outweigh the boredom. Not that nurses nights are boring, god I am digging a hole here I hope you understand what I mean.

Haha yes night shifts are evil for the diet, especially on my ward because we all buy share-size snacks and tend to graze for 11 hours! And yes I agree it's because we're bored, there's a lot less to do on a night shift!

why not develop some exercises you can do either sitting down or around the ward. nothing ridiculous, things like squats, push ups of a chair to strengthen those bingo wings some daft ones, they all work. Do they still let you have the multi layered hair style?

Hey, I only just read that comment but that is such a good idea, I'm definitely going to try it. A girl I work with is also trying to lose weight so I think we could motivate each other :)
And yes, they love my hair at work- most people call me rainbow or skittles, even the patients! I've also got quite a few colourful tattoos but luckily my work let us embrace our individuality haha.
