I'm really thrilled: Exactly one year ago, I weighed in at the doctor's office at 214. I was so discouraged. I'd worked so hard to lose more than 50 pounds, and now I gained 35 pounds back. I was so disgusted with myself. So today is the first time I've weighed myself since then, and at 186.8, I am just six+ pounds away from where I was when I fell off the wagon. I'll weigh in again before I leave my sister's house -- she has a scale and I don't (deliberately) -- which I hope will give me a sense of whether a little bit is coming off each week or what, and then I will just keep doing what I'm doing until my next weigh-in at the doctor's next month. Hooray for me... and hooray for all my FS friends who are struggling to stay on target. We can all do this together.
