Okay, life is crowded now, but you've obviously been watching the quantity of food that hits your mouth. I used to travel constantly for work but maintained around 120 lbs., so it is doable. Are you driving or flying?

A bit of both. Last week was unplanned was supposed to be a week at home but had to go to Boston, 2 hours from me. Next week fly to Columbus then drive to Richmond then drive home.
The food has become pretty easy even with travel. The good thing I know I can maintain this regardless of what happens in life. This is the first time I have eaten my way to health.
How are things on your end? Think you will hit your goal weight this summer ?

You have done incredibly well, especially if you are traveling that much. Eat as healthy as you can and at least try to get walks in as much as you can.💜

I have an extremely similar situation so I’d like to follow this thread. I’m going to be using my Pilates core reformer and YouTube videos this next week while out of town for work. Is this something you could do? You only need a little more space than a yoga mat and 15-20 minutes.

@diana thank you. How are you feeling? Sorry to read about you being sick. I have been lucky in that regard so far.

@Lola: You're traveling with a reformer?!? @Russell: Try to take advantage of the long stretches in the airport by walking constantly. You can easily cover 3 miles in an hour before boarding. Also, if your hotel room has a mini fridge, find a nearby grocery store and stock up on nuts and fruit for snacks (no room service). Most continental breakfasts have bananas & apples and yogurt. I cannot stress enough that you are not on vacation: Salads for Lunch Salads for Lunch Salads for Lunch.😁

@lola thank you for the support. I did a lot of exercising last year while traveling. Things have changed though. Work is in hyper speed. Most days in bed at 2 and up at 6.
I’m really lucky I lost the weight before this period hit. Being healthy gives me a shot and getting through this.
You travel for work a lot too ?

JB I actually have been getting my movement in the warehouses while training. Been getting 10-15k steps without “exercising”. I haven’t changed my eating habits on the road. I grocery shop day one. I make sure I have apples, bananas, carrots, salads, water in the fridge and usually a few bags of frozen veggies. I don’t eat in the airports, on the plane, or the hotel breakfast.

At least when you are able to be home and use it? I don’t know how portable they are.

calisthenics light and heavy work pretty good for me. So many quick workout you tube videos that are pretty easy at ten to twenty minutes. A few ten minute sessions a day really add up. I try to get my heart pumping and pushing it into a cardio workout.
