I've never heard of that eating plan. Interesting.

Dmitry maybe you aren’t ready to jump into this fasting thing quite yet. I might suggest that you back up a bit and concentrate on getting used to eating three smaller meals a day with a calorie count that fits into your program..aim to eliminate snacking between meals. Develop an activity/exercise plan that works for your abilities, work to eat healthier foods instead of fast food. Learn a bit about nutrition. Once you have mastered the art of cutting back without starving you could move on to a two meal a day program if you still want to try intermittent fasting. You have to figure out what foods provide the greatest satisfaction in your diet and have the type of nutrition your body needs. Best of luck to you. Personally, I am not a fan of one meal a day plans. I don’t think they are sustainable for most people.

There are a bazillion diets you can try. If eating only one meal per day isn’t cutting it for you, be flexible and research another one. I have been on about 4 in the past 2 years to achieve my goals. Would definitely recommend that you start with lab work and a doctor visit before starting a new diet to make sure you’re addressing any health concerns first (and not making them worse. For instance, OMAD is not ideal for diabetics.)

Losing weight is great and that's what everyone is mostly chasing. But you have to keep in mind you want to do it at a healthy pace. With a method that you can continue with for life. If not as soon as you stray you will just gain the weight back. There's some good advice here from the ladies. I would take a step back and reconsider your goals and approach to attaining them. Not eating 23 hrs a day doesn't seem like it will benefit you long term.
