Happy Birthday to Me! It's my 34th birthday today. My hubby is so cute he posted a cartoon on my Facebook page called "My Low-Carb Birthday." It's a guy bringing out a steak with a lit candle, haha. Didn't get but about 6 hours of sleep last night, and up since 5 am or so. No BM before weigh-in, so I'm not surprised I'm "up" a pound.
I'm going out for dinner with some friends and family. We're having tapas at a place I've already eaten while on Atkins, so I know exactly what to expect. There are some sauces I'm not sure about, but I'll still be within my NC. I'm also going to have a shot of whisky.
Ordered Zumba today so I can mix in some cardio along with my P90X. I haven't been feeling like doing the Plyo and Kenpo lately. I found a commercial this morning so I could check it out. One website said it's not available until May 15th, and I could pre-order it, but the site I ordered from didn't mention that and said it would ship in 3-10 days. So...I have no idea when it will actually get here. I wish the XBox game wasn't Kinect (don't have that) or that I could find a video somewhere. I know those moves work the abs big time, so I'm looking forward to bringing out my 6-pack! :)
Looking at revamping my workouts to 4 days of strength training a week and 2-3 cardio sessions for 3 weeks, then taking a fourth week as a "Rest Week," which would actually focus more on cardio, maybe Yoga. I seem to be able to hit the weights really hard for three weeks, and then I have a slump for a week. Only did one strength training workout 1 time this week so far (it's a 4th Week), but my muscles are really starting to pop. I think my body will respond well to this routine. If not, I'll re-evalute. Again. :)
