Allergy headaches, father in hospital three times in two weeks, no money to buy actual "good" food, refrigerator on the fritz... And with all of this, I stopped walking and gained back five pounds.
Wait.
You know, when I see "five pounds" instead of "I was 216 and now I am all the way back up to 220.8", it doesn't look all that daunting. Hells, I lost it before, so of course I can lose it again. Of course I can!
It's only twenty days until the 5k I want to participate in, too. I know I can walk that... I've done it many times before just wandering around. It was back in California when I was thinner, yes, but why not now, too? I've even *done* it here not long ago. It's not nasty windy outside right now, and it's not nasty hot. I have to drive my father to the bank later, but damnit, I am going to go for a walk first.
Yeah!
