Good grief! It's like my body knew my end goal for the end of the month was no higher than 180... and now it's trying to hit it! (I think it's the salt.)
I want to tell you all a story. That's it everyone. Sit at my feet so I can tell you my story. Have we got our quiet hats on?
Well, you see, I'm just about through the first stages of my training to be a reflexologist. The next phase is to professional status. It will likely take me another six months to a year for that. I don't buy the whole 'energy transfer' bit, but I have seen physical reflexology work and have experienced the situation of locating problems and have even discovered that people have donated a kidney from the reflex point being missing, but this last weekend I had a very entertaining experience.
A group of women came in. They were there for the practicum for our little group. I could tell which one was the wild card right up front. You know the type. Leading the pack, cracking jokes. Of course, I got her. I asked her if she'd like a chart so she could see the reflex points so she could ask questions if she wanted to and she agreed. I started the treatment. She smiled at me and said, "I'd like my waist narrower, and I'd like larger breasts."

It became an 'ology' in the 1920s. Until then it was known as reflex therapy. It's great for relaxation and for pain control. It can actually relieve a bunch of symptoms and help the body release toxins. Sometimes the person becomes quite emotional. Sometimes people tell you things you can't believe they're comfortable telling you. I always keep confidences when they do that and assure them if they're worried. People need people. Even simple touch can be very therapeutic. I think it's a natural thing, not something magical.

if you want your hair to grow thicker press at the trapezius below the Ossa digiti iv. But only on a Monday when the moon is full in South Africa, and only after you spit on the floor twice whilest standing on a white beach in Mallorca.
(Btw. if you are standing there, the kosmos will have provided you with temporary memoryloss)

Cute story. I did massage therapy for awhile so I can relate.

Puhpine. I could do with some memory loss. Or maybe not. I can't remember. Thanks for the support Traccie.

You could probably make zillions if you marketed the cure for that in one 'pressure point applying therapy ring'.... we'd all buy one.

I am sending my list of things that need fixin’ now. I am familiar with reflexology but I have never had a session. That's pretty great to have a professional reflexologist in our group. That is a cute story.

My father-in-law had a great saying. "When your memory goes - forget it!" I miss him.
