I was detoxify my body through fruits and vegetables juice. It actually works pretty well you can also try it will fast your metabolism and help in loosing fat not muscle mass.

Actually water diet once a month is good. I don't know why people think it will kill your metabolism but 24 hours of a fast sets in autophagy which is actually good for cellular vitality of our body

..if you don't aim to compete then don't starve your body for fluids or sodium or carbs ....you will damage your organs permanently for just to look good.....aim correctly

What you do for short time will only give results for short time..aim for long term...to much of restriction can case binging
