Sometimes intermittent fasting can help you get through a plateau. Try eating one meal, then don’t eat until the next day at that same meal. It sounds harder than it is if you’ve never tried it. Dr. Jason Fung wrote a great book about it.

Do you weigh every bite you eat? When I cut portions in half, stopped drinking Coke all day, stopped eating out and weighed all my food it really helped. Sometimes the scale didn’t budge though. It was frustrating BUT it moved eventually. Sometimes a bit more activity helped. Sometimes cutting out some sugar/carbs helped. I always changed it up. Still do lol. I’m not a breakfast eater so I always am doing IF without realizing it. I’ve also started to occasionally do the one meal a day. I’ve tried a 24 hour fast and it’s not for me but works for some others.

I took a peek at your menu, and I noticed that you didn't log calories for the cooking oils. At 120 calories per Tbsp., they add up. Also, if butter or sauces are going on the food, don't forget to measure/weigh and log those. Great job on everything else you've been doing -- keep up that part!

@justbananas i typically dont use any oils when cooking. If I use butter I add it in.

@peerperj -i dont drink any sodas at all (or fruit drinks) etc. never have in my life! I weigh/measure everything. Its exact. 😕

I’ve found weighing is more accurate than measuring but sometimes I measure. Sounds like you’ve hit a plateau. Changing it up could help. Or dropping calories a bit or upping exercise. I know it’s frustrating but hang in there! My longest one was like a month or two but the others were shorter ;).
