I'm still at it. And proud of it. I really dread weighing myself. I know that the number on the scale is only a number, that if I've maintained healthy habits all week, between weigh-ins, that that has more importance than the scale, which can be persnickity. But - still I dread weigh-ins. I know that if for an entire week I eat sparing portions, indulge in long walks and other activities, and keep focused, the pride and satisfaction I get from that can be blown up in a single moment, the moment when the bathroom scale reveals it's magic number to me. So, with much trepidation I stepped on the scale this morning and - I had lost .5 pound. Whew!
