Got in 2.1 miles in today after work. I forgot my gym bag at home which was frustrating, so made myself go walk in the cold for 35 minutes when I got home...that'll teach me! :) After having to take off work on Friday to travel out of town for a family funeral this weekend, and over indulging (to say it nicely) on 'funeral food' I noticed the foods that I targeted at the church buffet line, and all of it was filled with carbs...lasagna, cheesy potatoes, sugary jello with canned fruit, brownies, cookies. I am happy that I noticed this about myself and started fresh today with a low-carb diet that was recommended by my doctor awhile ago.
I pledge to do at LEAST 10 miles this week!!!
