my 1st full week of trying to keep to my 1800 calories per day. I wouldn't say I'm eating healthy as such, but definitely reduce drastically in my portion sizes. to be honest I'm so used to eating unhealthy I don't really know where to start, so if anyone has any tips them please throw them my way.

Add greens to your meals, try to avoid processed and deep-fried foods... and if you like cooking be adventurous. Google is an ally. Just type “healthy, low-calorie recipes”...

What works for me is having a smaller plate , I fill it a lot less and still definitely feel full . Also taking a longer time to eat. If you I make what I have taste really goood I get more satisfaction and don't need to eat a lot of it to feel happy you've eaten something nice. But I'm lucky that I absolutely love cooking .

You've got a starting point! Just keep tweaking here and there until you have it dialed in. And remember small changes add up to significant changes with time. It takes alot of patience but you're on the right track and doing great!!!
