Hahaha! I can totally relate to not trusting my scale! A couple of weeks before lock down, I went to buy another scale. I now have two. Low and behold, on the new scale we weighed 300g more than on the old scale. However, the benefit of this is that it is consistent. So I can always check both of them.
I do wish that I measured myself at the start of my weight loss journey. It would’ve been incredible to see, but I am a bit skeptical whether I measure myself at the exact same place every time, and I figured I won’t be able to do it.
So for now I use two scales 😂 one 300g more than the other...
I would say that If you have some extra monies and after the lockdown, you can always visit a slimming Clinique or Gym or health Centre where they measure your body fat % etc. And do that every couple of months - it would probably be the most accurate story about your weight loss.
Good luck!
