I started weight training again last Friday, and was a bit apprehensive that it would effect the numbers, but a solid 4lbs again.
Friends and family are shocked, I think they think it's some kind of magic, or I'm cheating some how, they don't appreciate the sheer unwavering determination you have to have.
I've had shin splints, pulled a calf, pulled a hamstring but just continued to walk them off despite the pain, and on top going smoke and alcohol free.
Nothing in life worth doing is easy, but it's hard achievements that give you the best satisfaction, especially if your reasons for doing them are for yourself.
I think the the fact I don't feel like I'm dieting or trying to lose weight, but want to eat and excerise for health and have made long term life style changes has helped because I don't feel pressure to lose it, I'm just a happier, healthier more confident me, for me.
I think I'm trying to say don't forget who you're doing it for, it's not for the assumptions others make about your appearance, or your partner, or even your kids, it's for yourself.
