1I gained 7 lbs the last 2 weeks my husband was home. I'm nineteen weeks, and have already gained seventeen pounds and knowing that most of my weight gain is still ahead of me scares me. Honestly I know my eating was way out of control. I know I just need to focus on eating the right things, but its not easy. I'm having huge sweet cravings and I know that indulging them is just making it worse. Its so much harder when I know I am thing to gain weight anyways to eat the right thing. I seriously want to keep my weight gain to around 30 lbs. I think is just a wake up call to slow down, the next time i do my doing i plan to go fully paleo, and am working on a meal plan. Hopefully that will make a differenceThe good news is I have been very faithful to my exercise plan, only missing one day in the last 5 weeks. I know I need to gain weight its healthy, but its still hard to e that scale going up again after working so hard to lose it. But I just have to keep reminding myself that this is only temporary, and what a beautiful gift I will get out of it :)

I just read a buddy's journal this morning about how they are getting back to it after having a child, and she didn't gain a lot and exercised the whole way through the pregnancy, had an easy labor, and is already back to her pre-pregnancy weight. You'll be fine. Just keep doing some exercise and make sure you're fueling your body for this journey. Good luck!!

Thanks! This is number 4 for us, I gained around 40 with each of my othersothers, lost 20 easily, but had to work really hard for the rest. It want until our last one that I really figured it out, lost all the baby weight plus 35 pounds, she week be 2 soon. So I know I can do it, just hoping to gain less this time since it will make it easier inn the long run. Its just do hard to not just east whatever I want because I'm going to gain anyways. 7 lbs in 2 weeks though was a bit of a kick in the pants to get on track! The motivation is that if I gain about 35 lbs, then I will end this pregnancy less then I started with my first, which makes me feel like I've really accomplished something!
