slowly moving in a downward direction. winter is coming and the annual carb cravings along with it. got out my mini light box . pairing it with second cup of coffee to help symptoms. need to pair with something in early evening too. perhaps 15 minutes of reading which is a want to do as well. starting to look at indoor activity as the days shorten and winter comes closer. we have a new YWCA that offers drop in pickle ball. I found a friend who is willing to try it out with me. Not really the jock type and tend to be skeptical of every sport. Maybe this will be a good fit for me? The volksport group I joined for walking this spring and summer I found overly challenging and not enjoyable because those ladies walk way faster than I find comfortable. Maybe this winter a goal should be to work on my pace so next year I can keep up?( if I decide to rejoin) Nice ladies, just too fast for me. I have a new indoor track that is very affordable at our local college. Would need to figure out a system to increase my speed. I know my normal pace is 4.4. The walking group goes about 6.5 on average. Trying to keep up with them on a 5 km walk at times left me out of breath.

Thanx for the lightbox reminder, Cheryl! Dug mine out :) It's a snowy & cold morning here and do not want to give into SAD this winter! There are walking videos (Leslie Sansone) if you cannot get to a track. Dvds (like Zumba) can help us stay active, too! It's gonna be a great winter: next spring you will outwalk those power walkers LOL
