Hey Cherbe, don't let yourself get distressed. I have really been researching how the body systems work. Check out the comment I added about artificial sweetner if I haven't already told you about what poison they are. I was thinking about you and ice cream. Over the past year I have given up just about everything that isn't healthy. But Turkey Hill choclate peanut butter ice cream seems to be my undoing. Figured something out about the craving though. As much as I loved eating it I hated myself for doing it. So I just kept spinning out and created a cycle that left me hating me and it was really out of control. So I decided to end my 'love affair' with it in a good way. Not stressed, I bought a carton. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Felt really sick, as usual, and stopped making it my enemy. As long as I let it taunt me I was a mess. With all the things to worry about, freaking ice cream was my undoing. By having a private party, just me, the ice cream and a spoon, I was able to not hate myself and therefore relinquishing the hold it had on me. Now when I think about it, what comes to mind is how sick it used to make me. Check out this book...Low Fat Living. The writers are a married couple and they really explain how and why the body holds and continues to make fat. This made me think: The body has something like 3 or 30 billion (can't remember exactly, but) they can hold up to 150 lbs at one time. Because of the way the body signals different responses, even eating well, if the body isn't reset (easy to do) good types of nutrition also begin to become stored as fat. Which explained to me why I seem to spend so much time on a hamster wheel trying to lose. Get back to me when you can. Hope the leg feels good. Go calmly through your day. It makes a difference.
