Figured I would weigh in, it was weighing on my mind. lol
So very busy, at work, at home, so much going on. Add a little jet lag to that, and its rough man! I did miss my FS weigh ins, journaling, and my friends over here.
Its always tough to come back to work after time off. People telling you stuff, that for me, I could give a rats ass about. This issue with my Dad allowed me to reconnect with some family stuff. Work is work, it is not our life. When your an expat like me, so far from home, sometimes you grab onto that work like a warm blanket. Not so much for me lately though, its been biking and fitness. Hurray!
Highlights of my trip stateside was snuggling with my new niece, hanging with Pops of course (He is improving nicely). I had some good meals, Chik-Fil-A, Longhorn, a liverwurst sandwich from my Bro's kitchen (#1 meal!).
We also went on a cruise during hurricane Sandy! Fun times indeed! We wont forget that anytime soon. Nothing great on the food there, just institutional food.
