Have to remember that this is a journey - not a race. Some weeks i don't not reach my goal for that week however i must remember that its not how fast to get to my goal weight but getting healthier. Each pound lost helps to reach that goal. Its is so easy to get discouraged and give up but if you keep in mind that this is a lifestyle change and not a destination you can start to enjoy the journey and learn from each day. Some days will be harder than others and some days there will be set back as they are often in life. A lifetime of less than healthy choices has gotten me to this point a few changes will not bring immediate results, lets not forget the journey of a 1000 miles starts with one step. With this mind set immediate results become less important.

So this is not a race or a contest on who can lose more but a self discovery and a reinventing of myself. I must discover who this new person is and reinvent my relationship i have with food and with my body.

This is my thought of the day.
