Today is my first official day. Yesterday after work my husband and I spent the evening going through the cabinets and purging everything we can't eat. It was a tear jerker at times, the powdered sugar shaker from pampered chef that was so convenient for pancakes is gone. I really didn't use it very often, and with no pancakes it will not be needed. I'm not sure why it got to me. We did our first devotional. Then he went to the store and shopped the outter isles and brought back fresh and healthy choices. I hate it for my dad when he stops in later this week; the ramen noodles are gone.

Pancakes aren't completely gone, there are health options...made with whole wheat. Of course the powdered sugar is, that can have the replacement of fruit, honey, or even homemade whipped cream. This will not be during the first phase, but later you can add the healthier options back to your meals.
