I’m stuck between 226 and 233 lbs my body refuses to give anymore. I started at 243 lbs .I went from 2000 calorie low carb , low calorie,low sugar gluten free diet. To 1700 calories a day. Getting frustrated. Anyone have any suggestions? I’m a 6,3” man if I goto 1500 calories I’ll be starving. Also type 2 diabetic.

Starving? Weight loss is about very, very slow “starvation.” One to two pounds lost/week is always recommended because it doesn’t cause the body to significantly lower the basal metabolic rate and/or sacrifice lean body mass rather then fat. Our bodies love, love, love to have fat stores because only they will allow the body to survive hard times. Everything the body does is about continuing its own survival.
