AHHHH- up again! I'm tired of the yo-yos! However, I feel good that I'm getting back into a workout routine and I'm walking 3 miles at least twice each week- sometimes more. I am not eating terribly by most people's standards, but I am including more bread than I should for South Beach standards. This last week, though, I have been cutting out my lunch time sandwich and adding eggs back in for breakfast instead of my cereal (again). I don't know why I am having such a hard time cutting those things out completely this time! Knowing that it works for me after loosing so much after my first pregnancy by strictly following the diet- it seems I would just fall into it once again...I guess I just don't have the same motivation this time! Oh well, I am trying to stay positive and just find ways to incorporate fitness into my daily routine.

Okay, to be fair, the day before my last weigh in I had been sick; so I did expect my weight to be up. That being said- grrrrr! I haven't followed SB all that well lately, so I am going to get back on this week and see if I can't just get that number to go back down- without being sick!! Thanks for the comments that I've received on my journals in support. This is a really wonderful tool to have in weight loss- it is so great to be able to boost eachother up! Especially with the difficult task that weight loss can be!!

Okay, with Easter festivities over, looking back- not too bad. I did have a small amount of cake, but no mashed potatoes with my Easter meal. Today my weigh in happens to be a little less b/c I was sick and didn't eat much today, so I think I have pretty much stayed the same- we'll see in the next week how that goes. I am starting to add back some grain here and there, but trying to keep it at bay. I had a small amount of pasta today, just to get some quick energy after being sick and it didn't seem to affect any cravings. Hopefully all will be back to normal this week and the weight loss will continue. Fingers crossed!!

Feeling great- in the last two weeks I finally have lost a few pounds! I also started a strict vitamin routine and I have tons more energy and even feel like I am starting to sleep better. Today was the last day of phase I and I am still not feeling deprived. It's great to be back on the diet, I forgot how much easier it is after the first week. I am going to be slowly adding fruit in and maybe a sweet potato here and there, but I am still staying away from breads- no matter how great the whole grain bread is, it always packs the lbs. right back on me! I am glad to be able to add in some fruit, though!
