Numbers today: W: 245; G: 8.3; K: 0.4
My numbers are looking stable, so looking good. Tomorrow is my official weigh in following a Beef & Butter personal challenge. I'm hoping to shed a few more lbs. So today I'm sticking with the program fairly close. I've had one 90-second Keto muffin for breakfast, 2 mugs of coffee & cream and I'll have one final B&B meal tonight with a fat bomb to end things. I'm hoping to get my Ketones up to at least 0.6, just to prove I'm in ketosis, but I'm happy to see 0.4 today. Fingers crossed and prayers said for higher numbers tomorrow morning.

I'm still feeling really good. Tomorrow would normally be weigh day, but because I'm only eating Beef & Butter for 3 more days, I'll weigh in on Tuesday. So far feeling positive. Cheers!

I've joined a Keto challenge which started today. It's called the Beef and Butter Fast Challenge and lasts 5 days (you basically eat beef and butter for 4 days and then weigh-in on the fifth). The point of the challenge is to get folks who've had a stall in their weight loss a boost and 'recharge' their batteries, so to speak. Can't do any harm. Last time they did this challenge 110 peeps lost more than 500 lbs! Sounds good to me! Look it up on Facebook, if you want to give it a try. It's really for folks already used to a Ketogenic diet, so be warned. The next challenge starts 27 August. You have to sign up.

To record my history:
At largest, fatest, I weighed 317 lbs. That was well over 25 years ago. I knew everything in my life was going end when I died - and no one would care. Then I lost about 75 lbs and roughly the same time I met my husband, moved to England and began a new life. I never lost below 250 and I have been yo-yo dieting for most of the 18 years we've been together.
About 5 years ago I had a bout of cardio-pulmonary hypertension. It led to Pulmonary-Thoracic Endarterectomy in December 2015 from which I have had a long difficult recovery including a brain haematoma in 2014 and the amputation of a diabetic toe in 2016.
To say I am thrilled to weigh less than 250 is putting it lightly, but my current weight today is 245, and I am more dedicated than ever at getting on with it. Let's do this! There's no turning back! I haven't been so hopeful in years and years.
