Realized my biggest issue with keto was not enough sodium. Since getting that up I feel so much better. Also focusing on potassium and magnesium. After about 12 days very strict keto had my first cheat carb meal last night at a movie. Feel great this morning and will stay keto for 95% of my meals but every once in awhile will eat some carbs as a cheat. I like that I’m fat adapted now and this app and community has helped a lot in these couple weeks :)

Day 8 of keto and I think the keto flu is finally coming to an end :). Going to keep up with supplementing correctly, I noticed my sodium levels were a little low recently. Also decided to change my fitness goals. I initially wanted to go from 170lbs to 225lbs maintaining a low bodyfat as a 3 year goal. Now that I’m at 197lbs after 6.5 months at around 14% bodyfat, my new goal is 205lbs 12% bodyfat. The appetite is lower so getting enough calories is a challenge for putting on weight, but I’m getting there :)

Day 5 of keto. Noticed a side effect is on my sleep being shortened. This led me to feel quite fatigued today. Did some research and found it it’s likely due to a decrease in tryptophan that usually gets better over time. Now supplementing though with everything needed to make this “keto flu” less annoying. Feeling better after my Shake (almond milk, avocado, protein powder, creatine, pink Himalayan salt, magnesium powder, a few berries, mct oil and peanut butter) and vitamin d and a large dose of omega 3s

Might look like just water but it’s loaded with magnesium and a pinch of pink Himalayan salt. Realized I needed to supplement a bit with starting keto because of the depletion of electrolytes
