Well, it looks like a bit of a plateau but I seem slimmer so perhaps all that exercise is turning fat into muscle.Problem is that I am determined to get down to 140...

Well, the scales have either broken a spring or at last the weight is coming off. Since I am now back into clothes I last wore 5 years ago (and they are loose) it would seem that the scales are right. Whooppee! Drs pleased (with blood pressure), horse pleased (no longer has to dread the mouunting block), Clerk pleased (has inherited rather a lot of new clothes),daughter and friends pleased (easier to hug). Me eying up the size 14s and planning on buying some for Christmas.

One thing you can say for swine flu - it certainly helps the diet. I find I am not really doing Atkins anymore. Just living on fruit with a few bits of fish and the odd small steak. I have cut out all bread/potatoes/other starchy items so that my only carbohydrate comes from fruit and almonds. The almonds are supposed to be good for my HDL/LDL and certainly they make a bunch of grapes a more filling lunch! Gone down from a size 22 to a size 16 - rather wonder if the scales are right as hospital scales weighed half a stone under. However still have some nasty fat rolls on the tum so its back to the rowing machine for me.

I do not recommend swine flu as a holiday experience. However it certainly makes dieting easier - you feel too ill to eat anything except grapes...

Had a minor stroke 10 weeks ago so am now on low fat/low carb// and mostly fruit!
