I was thinking about buying a juicer, but I've changed my mind. I'm going to keep that money in my pocket and do smoothies. I plan on having them for breakfast. I have made a few in the last week with my immersion blender, fruit only smoothies, and they're fast to make and fast to clean up, but I'm going to try and do green leafy veggies in higher and higher proportions to get used to it.

I've already taken an ice cube tray and added 1/2 tsp chia seeds to each compartment, then topped with coconut water. I figure I add two of those to each smoothie and that will be good. I don't want to put dairy in them to start with. I am trying a tiny test batch of almond milk to see how I feel about using that in smoothies, though I doubt i'll ever use enough to justify buying a huge 2L of almond milk ever.
